Jaltest 26.1 Update Highlights

Jaltest released version 26.1 on March 12, 2026. This is the first of three software updates scheduled for 2026. 

If you don’t know already, Jaltest (made by Cojali) updates its software three times a year (around every four months). Each update adds new vehicle coverage, fixes bugs, and brings better tools to help technicians work faster.

Version 26.1 brings important improvements across all five Jaltest modules: CV (Commercial Vehicles), AGV (Agricultural Vehicles), OHW (Off-Highway), MHE (Material Handling Equipment), and Marine. It also introduces a major new platform, Jaltest GRP Web, which lets shops manage their workshop from any browser (no installation needed).

Jaltest 26.1 Update: What's New? (2026 Deep Dive)

Platform-Wide Improvements

These changes apply to all Jaltest modules, regardless of which one you use:

  • Jaltest GRP Web: A brand-new online workshop management platform. You can now access all your shop data from any web browser, anywhere. No software installation is required. It includes all the standard GRP features, plus improved accessibility, a smarter setup assistant, and flexible settings to fit your shop's needs.

  • Jaltest Link V9 driver updates: The hardware interface has been updated to support newer vehicle communication systems and architectures.

  • Jaltest Central Services: Expanded and improved support for remote diagnostic assistance.

Jaltest CV 26.1 (Commercial Vehicles)

The 26.1 update adds significant coverage for newer truck models and expands into electric and hybrid powertrains.

New and updated brands include:

Jaltest AGV 26.1 (Agricultural Vehicles)

Jaltest AGV is built for tractors, harvesters, and other farm equipment. The 26.1 update continues to grow coverage across leading agricultural brands and adds deeper system-level diagnostics.

When Will Jaltest 26.2 Come Out?

Jaltest releases three software updates per year — roughly every four months. Based on this schedule, here's what to expect:

  • Jaltest Version 26.1: March 12, 2026 (AVAILABLE NOW)

  • Jaltest Version 26.2: June-July 2026 (Next scheduled update)

  • Jaltest Version 26.3: October–November 2026 (Final 2026 update)

Common Issues After Updating to 26.1

  1. Update won't start or freezes: Make sure your laptop is fully charged or plugged in. Close other programs. Restart the laptop and try again.

  2. Not enough storage space: Jaltest updates can be large. Free up space on your laptop or check with WholeFleet about storage requirements.

  3. Connection error during download: Switch to a wired internet connection if possible. Temporarily disable your antivirus/firewall, then restart your router and try again.

  4. Software won't launch after update: Restart your computer. If the issue continues, reinstall the Jaltest Download Manager.

  5. New Scania or Mercedes not connecting: You may need the new JDC 213E1 cable. Contact WholeFleet to order the right cable for your setup.

  6. License not recognized: Make sure your license is active. Contact WholeFleet support — they can verify your license status quickly.

Prior to his time with Cummins, he worked as a journeyman 310S automotive technician and then spent 3 years as a technical lead for Westport Innovations, a world leader in natural gas fuel system development. Kevin’s experience as a service technician, combined with his knowledge of fuel, emissions and engine controls acquired at Westport, helped him excel as a Cummins trainer and in diesel engine fault troubleshooting.

In addition to delivering on-site diesel engine diagnostic training to fleets nation-wide, Kevin also provides on-going remote troubleshooting and technical support to his clients.
